RecroGrid Framework Demo Latest Project
A fully functional demo project is available on GitHub.
The current solution demonstrates the recommended Server-side Application model through these projects:
- ASP.NET Core backend API (
RGFDemo.WebAPI) - Blazor host application (
RGFDemo.BlazorApp) - Interactive Blazor client (
RGFDemo.BlazorApp.Client) - Identity Provider (
RGF.Demo.IDP, Duende) - Shared Northwind domain and data access projects for SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle
Additional standalone Blazor WebAssembly and ASP.NET Core MVC samples are available under the Legacy directory for compatibility and reference scenarios.
Clone Repository
Download the project via the command line:
git clone https://github.com/Recrovit/rgf-demo
Download the project using Visual Studio by choosing Clone a Repository and providing the address of the RecroGrid Framework Demo project:

Start the demo
This section describes how to start the current Server-side Application demo locally. Start the projects in the following order, and wait until each application has started successfully before continuing to the next one.
RGF.Demo.IDPThis identity provider project handles authentication and sign-in for the demo. Start it first and wait until the application is ready.

RGFDemo.WebAPIThis backend API project provides the business logic, data access, Entity Framework integration, and the RecroGrid Framework server runtime. Start it after the identity provider is ready.

RGFDemo.BlazorAppThis is the browser-facing Blazor host application. It provides host-side OpenID Connect authentication, session handling, and API proxy integration for the interactive client.
RGFDemo.BlazorApp.Clientprovides the interactive Blazor client part and is loaded by the host application as part of this startup step.
Authentication
The first user who successfully signs in to a newly initialized demo automatically receives the Administrator role. This provides immediate access to the RecroGrid Framework administration features and establishes the initial administrator account for the application.

Blazor UI libraries
The current Server-side Application demo uses the Blazor host/client structure described above. Integration guidance for Bootstrap, DevExpress, Radzen, Syncfusion, and Telerik is available in Blazor UI libraries. The standalone WebAssembly demo under Legacy provides additional sample implementations for these libraries.
